About us

  In order to be eligible for consideration for a Bursary, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• be a student ordinarily living in Canada who will be attending an accredited post-secondary education institution in Canada or abroad in the upcoming academic term in the field of    Christian studies or another field of study for the purpose of entering full-time Christian ministry; and
• meet one or more of the following criteria:
  • a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 at the time of applying; and
  • an annual personal income of less than $70,000.

Applicants are required to submit supporting documentation as part of the Bursary application process. 

Selection of Bursary recipients would be based on financial need, scholastic excellence or both. Recipient will be selected in July.

  In order to be eligible for consideration for a Prize, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Potential Prize recipient must first be nominated by professor or church member.
• Nomination would require submission (by the potential Prize recipient) of: a cover letter summarizing more about themselves including their educational aspirations, volunteer experience, and ministry work. Further, the reason they would like to apply for the Haven Ma Foundation  Educational Achievement Prize and how the prize will assist them.
• A copy of their most recent transcript

The selection of Prize recipients would be based on (but not limited to) exceptional educational achievement. Recipient will be selected in July.
